Refer-a-Friend Program Terms & Conditions
By participating in the BBVA Compass Refer-a-Friend Program (the "Program"), you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions and agree and acknowledge to be bound by these terms and conditions. By participating in the Program you hereby authorize BBVA Compass to utilize your name, as the referrer, in any and all correspondence sent to a referred individual involving this Program.

Referring customer must have a BBVA Compass checking account. Only one bonus may be received per referral, regardless of how many accounts are opened by a referred individual. A referred individual must present the Refer-a-Friend code at the time of the account opening and satisfy the terms of the Program. The referred individual must be a new BBVA Compass customer. The referred individual is not eligible if he/she is or was an owner or authorized signer on a BBVA Compass consumer or small business checking account that is currently open or that was closed within 90 days prior to opening the new account. The referred individual must open a new consumer or small business checking account, the account must remain open for a minimum of 30 days and there must be at least two customerinitiated deposits within the first 30 days of account opening in order to qualify for the bonus.

All accounts subject to approval. New consumer checking accounts require a minimum opening deposit of $25 and new small business checking accounts require a minimum opening deposit of $100.

Program bonuses will be paid to the referrer within ninety (90) days after the referred individual opens the account and meets the above outlined conditions by crediting the account specified by the referrer. Program bonuses will be paid to the referred individual within ninety (90) days after the consumer or small business checking account is opened by the referred individual, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Program in effect at the time such referral was made by crediting to the new account opened by the referred individual. The referrer of a referred individual/new customer will also be eligible to receive $5 for each direct referral of the referred individual/new customer which meets the terms and conditions of the program.

Account must be open at time of payment. Program bonus payments may be reportable as taxable income.

Referred individuals may not reside within the referrer's household. BBVA Compass reserves the right to restrict this offer to one referral per household. BBVA Compass reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion the eligibility of a referred individual and a referrer for this offer. BBVA Compass reserves the right to disqualify referrals in circumstances where we, in our sole discretion, believe the referrals were not made in good faith.

BBVA Compass employees and customers that share accounts with BBVA Compass employees are not eligible to participate in the Program. You may only refer individuals with whom you have an existing personal or business relationship. You may not engage in any fraudulent activity to earn a Program bonus. In addition, no "spamming" is allowed. If we believe, in our sole discretion, that you have engaged in fraudulent activity, or are "spamming" e-mail accounts and/or addresses, we reserve the right to exercise the right to setoff against your deposit account(s) to recover any bonus payments, and your deposit account(s) may be closed and/or you may be denied further participation in the Program.

BBVA Compass may modify the terms of the Program without prior notice by modifying the Refer-a-Friend Program Terms and Conditions. BBVA Compass reserves the right to end this Program at any time without prior notice.
